Biography

Ana Gonzalez was a Chilean actress and stage performer. One of the most recognized actresses in the history of Chile. Popular was his comic character "La Desideria" which was born on the radio show Radiotanda. She is also remembered for her role as pergolera in the montage "La Pergola de las Flores". In the cinema she was one of the divas of the national scene in the 40s, especially thanks to her role in La Dame de las Camelias, a classic of local cinematography. His great acting quality and popularity make him the National Art Prize winner in 1969. After more than 60 years dedicated to theater, he must retire in 1995 after forgetting one of his texts in the "Viejas" production, due to the Alzheimer's that began manifest. The year 2008 passes away.
