Biography

Sybil Lines (aka Marion Lines) trained at London's Central School of Speech and Drama and was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for two years with Dame Judi Dench and the director, John Barton. Broadway credits include Bedroom Farce with John Lithgow, Waiting in the Wings with Lauren Bacall and Lettice & Lovage with Dame Maggie Smith. Off-Broadway credits include Manhattan Theatre Club, Roundabout, Pearl and La Mama. Dozens of theatre credits throughout USA include major roles at Pasadena Playhouse, Princeton, Goodman in Chicago, South Coast Rep., Seattle's ART and Michael Kahn's Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C. Screen credits include roles for the BBC, Madge in Murder She Wrote, Caroline Cromwell in Mickey Blue Eyes and the recurring role of villainous Libby Webster in the soap-opera Edge of Night. Sybil teaches at Circle in the Square Theatre School during summer months.
