Biography

Julieta Bernal García studied at the School of Dramatic Literature and Theater of the National Autonomous University of Mexico until 2021, the year in which she entered the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC). On her way to be accepted as a film student, Julieta took several film and screenwriting courses, including the Screenwriting Course taught by Gerardo Herrera, creator of the YouTube channel Zoom F7. In 2023, Julieta directed her debut film with ENAC called "Drowning", a short film that is currently in distribution. Also, she had the opportunity to represent ENAC at the BJX Bajío International Film Festival, as part of the Lab // Kinoroom crew. In her school and professional career, Julieta has worked in the areas of direction, both as a director and as an assistant director. She is currently looking to specialize in the Screenplay Area.
