Biography

Sam is a writer, director, and producer in Detroit, Michigan. His interest in storytelling from an early age has led him to produce innumerable films for himself and others, including “Porky” (2023), “What Now” (2022), and “Give Us A Smile” (2023), written and directed by Alessia Fionda. Additionally, he wrote and directed “Babydoll” (2024) and “Feed Your Hole” (2024) at the College for Creative Studies where he continues to study cinema. Sam has received various awards throughout his career, including “Best of Show” at the 2021 Daft Film Festival. His current project “Dog” has won “Best Feature Script” at the Caravan International Film Festival (2023), “Best Student Script” at the Oxford Script Awards (2023), “Best Feature Script” at the 8 & Halfilm Awards (2023), “Best Original Screenplay” at the Casino Film Festival and was an official selection at the Palm Springs International Indie Festival (2023).
