Youmna Chlala

Youmna Chlala is an artist and writer born in Beirut and based in New York. She has exhibited at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, Hayward Gallery, The Drawing Center, Art In General, Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Henie Onstad Art Center, Dubai Art Projects, Hessel Museum of Art, Concrete Gallery and MAK Center for Art and Architecture. She participated in the 33rd Bienal de Sao Paulo, 2017 LIAF Biennial in Norway, and 11th Performa Biennial. She is the author of the poetry and photography collection, The Paper Camera.
