Biography
Paul Turner was a British film director. He learned Welsh while working at the BBC as a film editor in the 1980s. In 1993, his anti-war Welsh-language film Hedd Wyn became the first British film to be nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards.
