Arrival. Fun-loving Brit Tina arrives in Australia but gets into serious trouble when she and Kirsty pick up the wrong bag at the airport.

Tina finds herself in deep trouble when Stefan, the owner of the rucksack, makes it clear that he will do anything to get it back… but Bryan and John have other plans.

Angie and Ricky are lost in the bush together, but John and Wendy seem to be coping without them. Meanwhile, Kirsty leaves the hostel and Tina, and Penny is flirting with Dave.

Klaus, a handsome German backpacker rescues Angie and Ricky from the bush. Can Angie keep her promise not to tell Wendy what happened while they were lost?

Penny and Miranda face disaster when Penny finds that all their money has been stolen. She can't tell Miranda and in desperation she tries a nude photo shoot, but is rejected.

Having found comfort in Dave, Penny is on top of the world. But any dreams of a relationship are destroyed when she opens the door of his van and finds another girl inside.

An angry Penny takes her chances with the Escort Agency. Ricky is encouraged by John to chance his luck too.

After a disastrous first meeting, Penny is persuaded to give the escort business another go. Meanwhile, Tina is spinning out of control. Her financial situation is so desperate she breaks into a car.

Despite having no money, Tina decides to paint the town red. She tries it on with Bryan and another backpacker boy but she's bitten off more than she can chew when a punter on the street turns nasty.

Rick gambles away all his money at John's card game, and Wendy finds out he's been dipping into their bank account. Tina is in George's debt.

Wendy confronts Ricky about the gambling, and after she gives him an ultimatum, Ricky decides to sell drugs for John. Meanwhile, Penny discovers that Aaron has some unusual preferences when it comes to sex.

Tina gets drunk at her birthday party and flirts with every man in the hostel. Unfortunately, one of them doesn't take no for an answer and things take a dangerous turn when he follows her to her room.

When Tina disappears after her birthday party, everyone but Bryan assumes she has a hangover. Bryan is pretty sure that she has run out but he doesn't know why. Penny is caught ""on the job.""

Wendy discovers how much Ricky owes to John. When John hassles Ricky for the money he owes, Wendy pays the debt off. Meanwhile, Angie is still angry with Klaus, and decides to test him. Penny tries to explain to Dave what she was doing.

Having been rejected by Inez, John starts flirting with Miranda and invites her to the pub. Dave and John come to blows over Miranda. Meanwhile, Inez takes direct action over the van by selling it without telling Carla… Carla takes direct action over Inez.

Penny warns Miranda to stay away from John and Chris. A young Canadian girl arrives looking for ex-lover Carla. John goes looking to complete his unfinished business with Inez.

Bryan's concern for Tina stuffs up John's big drug deal. A new arrival to the hostel prefers Isabella to Inez.

As George and Isabella celebrate their fifth anniversary, George discovers Tina's been arrested but doesn't realise Luc is making moves on Isabella.

Tina's return leads to a shock revelation as we find out who raped her. Eleni's got her hooks into Jun.

Tina tells Bryan she was raped. She doesn't say whom but thinks he knows and vows revenge. Luc is moving in on Isabella; everyone turns against Eleni.

Miranda, rebuffed by Dave, runs straight into John's arms. Bryan, looking for revenge for Tina, runs into a human brick wall. Dave collapses after a dive.

Dave is revived by Klaus and makes up with Penny… a little too late. Isabella finds Luc irresistable. Tina finds Bryan wants more than friendship.

John thinks he's found welcome relief from the gloom with Inez. But Klaus has a big surprise for him.

While the rest of the hostel bids a fond farewell to Dave, Isabella says goodbye to Luc in a way neither of them will ever forget.

A nervous Ricky asks Wendy to marry him then and there, John and Inez continue their game of Nervous Ricky asks Wendy to marry him, right here, right now. Her response makes him feel even more insecure. John plots naked revenge on Inez.

Wendy's smug superiority tempts Angie to tell the truth about her and Ricky. Klaus tells the police about John's fight with Dave.

Wendy gives Ricky one last chance to tell the truth. Angie tries to make amends. Miranda is feeling excluded and humiliated by Jun and Eleni.

Tina is threatened by a man who is looking for the drugs that went missing from her backpack. Ricky goes looking for Wendy.

Isabella can't leave with Luc without saying goodbye to George. Bryan is an unlikely hero. Inez's famous father arrives.

Isabella tells George she is leaving him. Miguel asks Inez to travel with him on his book tour. Jun, duped by Eleni, turns back to Miranda.

John takes advantage when Ricky goes on a self-destructive binge. Penny decides on a perilous plan to finance her and Miranda's escape.

Inez realises the truth about her philandering father. John messes with Ricky's head. George discovers Luc's secret.

Chris's gay-dar has been skewed by Inez. Gary tries to get back in with Tina. John ups the stakes with Miranda.

An immigration raid forces Ali and Ricky to get up close and personal. Tina is furious that her secret is out. Suze is hiding something.

Isabella tells George that they should adopt Tina's baby then slips to Gary that Tina is pregnant. Suze steals Chris's job. Ali's appeal is deferred.

Inquest day-but Miranda is sure John has been sleeping with Inez. Inez tells Chris she doesn't trust Suze.

Miranda has to decide whether or not to tell the truth about John. Isabella wonders why George was so forgiving about Luc.

Isabella pressures Tina to give her the baby. An old friend comes back and saves Tina from Gary. John still has another shock for Miranda.

Tina and George are videotaped revealing their dark secret. Ricky has a brilliant way of saving Ali from deportation. John is getting tired of Miranda.

Tina stuns Isabella and George with news about the baby. Isabella wants to throw her out. Bryan is caught with his pants down.

George is dancing as fast as he can, but finally has to confess. Miranda is starting to unravel.

Inez wants more from John than he may be prepared to give. George thinks he knows how to win Isabella back. Bryan loses it. And so, very nearly, does Suze with John.

Jun tries to help Miranda find Penny. Klaus and Angie are on their way. John has one last nasty surprise for Miranda.

John is king of the hostel. Ricky takes to drink and women but he's in for a big surprise. Bryan, Tina and Kirsty take to the water. Chris and Suze take to the road. Miranda's ultimate revenge.
