Birohi

Krishna, a struggling young man from Phulkumari, gets his first break when he lands a job as a government school teacher. However, he is posted to a remote village situated far away. He is about to discover a completely new world, the world of Birohi!

Krishna’s arrival at Birohi is greeted by an ‘explosive’ welcome. He meets Jamidar and Master Yasin at his school where there aren’t any students. He slowly realises that hidden behind the idyllic rural beauty of Birohi are a host of dark and intriguing secrets.

Krishna comes face to face with the hazards of being a newcomer to Birohi as he meets para teacher and infamous criminal Tyapa Mondal. Despite his reluctance to return to work, a new possibility enters his life when he comes across Radha on the bus.

As Krishna finds out more about the villagers, he tries to encourage the children to come to school. Even though his friendship with Radha blossoms radiantly, he gets more embroiled in local matters and secrets when he has to take sole responsibility for the school.

Krishna’s plan succeeds as children start coming to school. However, a shadow is cast over everything as some disturbing facts come forth about Jamidar’s past. Tyapa and his henchmen try to threaten him. As the drama intensifies, Krishna’s future in Birohi starts looking very bleak.

Thanks to Radha’s enterprising ideas, Krishna and co. hatch a plan to end Tyapa’s criminal career once and for all. But, things aren’t so simple. Even though Radha-Krishna would like to leave Birohi behind, Birohi doesn’t seem ready to give up on them yet.
