Borrasca

In the series premiere, a parolee tells a story to his parole officer about his childhood. Twelve-year-old Sam Walker (COLE SPROUSE) moves to a small town in the Ozarks with his family after his father is reassigned to a new sheriff’s department. Something screams on the mountain there, but his friends won’t tell him what or who. A family friend goes missing.

Kyle, Kimber, and Sam learn Drisking’s dark history at a school presentation. The Skinned Men stalk a boy through the woods. Sam says something he can’t take back.

Sam, now 17 years old, is forced to attend school on Senior Ditch Day. His boss Meera struggles with her business and a very private matter. Remains are found on the interstate.

The trio goes to a Borrasca Party where Sam learns more about the weeks leading up to Whitney’s disappearance. The kids visit a disgraced town figurehead, and Kimber gets upsetting news. Present-day Sam deals with more nightmares.

Sam recovers from his injuries while Kyle begins to waver on the mission. Sam realizes that things aren’t adding up in Whitney’s case. After a personal tragedy, Kimber returns to school with a plan. A new name appears on the Triple Tree.

A plan is executed at the funeral despite unforeseen factors. Sam and Kyle go their separate ways after an argument. Someone else close to Sam goes missing.

Sam searches the woods for his missing friend. The boys make up and discover more mile markers on the road to Borrasca. Kimber’s name is finally found on the Triple Tree.

A party at Ambercot turns violent and someone is injured. After searching for weeks, the boys finally find Borrasca. What happens there can never be undone. Present-day Sam gets a visit from his past.
