In Rio de Janeiro he operates alongside the BOPE, the special operations battalion of Brazil's military police, as they embark on a typical mission in the city's slums which are rife with drug-dealing gangs.

Ryan joins a special task force of the federal police of Mexico, on their hunt for gangs and local drug labs. He is also involved in a large training excersize involving a Boeing 777-200ER in a hostage situation

In Israel, Ryan faces his most difficult task yet as he joins the Magav, the country's border security force which has to police arguably the most disputed territorial boundary in the world. Aside from the political dimension of dealing with their Palestinian neighbours, the Magav also have to counter a range of criminal activities such as drug dealing.

Ryan joins the Special Police Task Force of Sri Lanka, in their fight against the Tamils. He learns stragetic driving, and urban warfare in the jungle. He goes on a mission to track down and arrest two Tamil scouts on a watchpost, and a small scale training operation involving the use of C4 in a warehouse.
