The Detroit Brothers push the boundaries of automotive engineering. They assemble a team of builders to compete for five grand in tools if they complete a challenge in five days. This week's challenge: Turn a slow-rolling 1928 Ford Model T into a hot rod.

Dave and Jamie attempt to mend the broken streets of Detroit by turning a Chevy Suburban into an all-in-one Pot Hole Filler. A trio of father-and-son builders tackle the task with them, but family feuds threaten to derail the build.

Frustrated by Jamie's artistic eccentricities, Dave steps back to let his brother lead the latest build: turning a military truck and a combine into an all-in-one corn picking and cooking machine. But Jamie may crack under the pressure of being in charge.

After cutting it in half, the Detroit Bros. reassemble a 1991 Ford Festiva and set it on two bearinged rims to re-create what was once thought to be the wave of the future: the gyroauto.

Egos collide as Dave and Jamie Kaye compete to build the best bike to work on both land and sea.
